Wine Tammuz

Dry red wine light ruby color with violet accents, delicate aroma dominated by sweet cherry, raspberry jam and cinnamon-like spices. Fruity driven in palate, with smooth velvet tannins and great complexity.

Starting from planting the grape and ending with the bottling of wine we do not use the materials and solutions that may harm the environment. The grapes are harvested by hand.
Grape Variety Kratosija – 100%
Location of Vineyards The vineyards of Zagarac. Located in a hilly area exposed to the wind natural coming from the plain. Land abundant scheletro and rocks outcrops that makes them infertile and very mineral. Due to prepared stone terraces throughout the day, stones accumulate and retain heat from the sun. The concentration of sugar in the grape that we reach here is 24-26%.

Picking Hand harvest with double selection. Earlier ripen with higher acidity.
Winemaking Production process of red wine Tammuz Amphora is unique. Only best grapes of Kratosija (same variety with Primitivo, Zinfandel) goes to the wine. We start with 45-60 days fermentation in qvevri, and having after 120-180 days aging in Terracota.
